Tiarno

Divided in two parts: Tiarno di Sotto und di Sopra and thanks to the favourable position it offers lots of excursion in the mountains on foot or with a mountain bike with different difficulties and lenghts. It offers healthy walks or challenging treks in an almost untouched natural environment. One of the most popular routes leads to the Gorg d´Abis waterfall, carved by the Massangla stream along a picturesque cliff. Famous it is also the Biotopo D'Ampola and the Monte Tremalzo. Both the two villages offer some tips for those who love the art and hisotry; in fact there are many different churches and frescoed chapels, some even with centuries-old history and frescoes.
